Step #1. Set up a account with Amazon.

This is the easiest part of the whole task. Simply go to http://www.amazon.com and set up an account for yourself.

This should only take a few minutes and is very straight forward.

Step #2. Click on your “Your Name” Store tab.

Once you’ve set up your account you should have been given a password in order to login to your account.

If you’re not logged in already, login now.

Now, from within the members area there should be a row of tabs at the top of the members area, click on the one that says “Your Name” Store(ex. ‘Corys Store’ tab).

This will take you to a different area with a different sub-menu.

Click on the tab in the sub-menu that says “About You Area”.

Step #3. Setting up your “About You Area”.

Now this is where you have to pay ‘Special Attention’ because this is what people will see when they click on your ‘About You’ tab.

Assuming you are at the ‘About You Area’ you’ll notice that you have spots available to put your Picture, Name, Nickname, eMail Address, Real Name and About Me.

Go ahead and fill out all the area’s accept your ‘About Me’.

The ‘About Me’ spot is what I’ll talk about in the next step, but for now, just fill out all the other area’s and if you want to put up a picture of yourself, you can, it’s up to you.

Step #4. Setting up the ‘About Me’ section.

This is probably the single most important part of this whole process because this is where your potential customer will read about who you are and what you and your business is all about, so do take this seriously.

Now, you have about 4,000 characters of space to write up a description about who you are and what your business is about, so its up to you on how long you want your description to be.

Before you start writing your description this is what You have to do First within the first 70 to 80 characters of your ‘About Me’ description and I’ll show you an example of how mine looks so you’ll be able to see this in action.

(ex. About me: Hi, I’m Cory Threlfall and I’m the Editor/Publisher of ‘www.internetwondersezine.com’ which is a …)

Do you see what I’ve done?

I’ve incorporated my ‘Domain Name’ in quotes into my First 70 to 80 characters of my description so when they click on my ‘About Me’ and read my profile they’ll also see my Domain Name, and if they wish to find out more about me they can either ‘Copy and Paste or Type’ my domain into there browser which will then bring them to my website where they can either ‘Subscribe’ to my newsletter or read my sale copy which will then get them to Opt-In to my newsletter.

This is where the ‘List Building’ starts to take place from the traffic sent through Amazon.

Now, we’ve already established that Amazon is a High Traffic website and now that you’ve set up your ‘About Me Area’ the way I’ve outlined it above I’m now going to show you how to direct Amazon’s traffic to your website.

Step #5. Directing Amazon’s traffic to your website.

This is where the fun starts. And once you see How its done you’ll probably kick yourself in the butt like I did when I was shown How-To do this.

What we need to do now is a little exercise so you’ll see for yourself how you’ll tap into Amazon’s traffic.

So, we know that Amazon is best known for Books, so click on the ‘Books’ tab within Amazon’s members area. This will take you to a different page.

In the upper left corner you’ll see a ‘Search Books’ search box.

Now, for the purpose of this exercise, just so that we’re on the same page, lets use ‘internet marketing’ as the search term.

So, go ahead and type that in and press GO!.

You should now see a bunch of listings on books related to ‘internet marketing’.

Scroll down and select the “33 Days To Online Profits” link. This will bring you to its Product Description page.

Within this Product Description page you’ll find Product Details, Editorial Reviews and most important of all, All Customer Reviews.

Notice I said “and most important of all, All Customer Reviews”.

Thats right, all you need to do is ‘Write Reviews’ on books within your particular Niche and when potential customers are reviewing the book you wrote the review on and they scroll down and happen to read your review and click on Your Name to see what you’re all about, guess what they’ll see?

They’ll see your profile with your Name, Nick Name, eMail Address and your ‘About Me’ description with your Domain Name screaming out at them which can easily be typed into there browser.

No medications can do a greater job then treating your high cholesterol naturally. If you are one of those fortunate people who do not possess cholesterol worries, you may wish to take steps to maintain it that way! What can you do to help your cholesterol levels? Purchase the leanest cuts of meat you can come across. Regularly replace poultry (without the skin) and also fish for red meat. Not only does it reduce the amount of oxygen the heart receives, it also actually damages the cells of the heart, rendering them less able to produce energy and thereby weakening the heart.

Exercise regularly. There is good evidence that suggests exercise can lower ldl cholesterol and boost hdl cholesterol. Both aerobic exercise such as jogging, swimming, walking, bicycling and cross country skiing and also strength training like lifting weights or using weight machines all promote the improvement of cholesterol levels. An analysis of 11 studies on weight training showed that this exercise lowered ldl by 13 percent and raised hdl by 5 percent. If you lift weights, use light to moderate weights and do many repetitions.

For some children, the biggest homework problem they have to solve is the volume they have to manage. Following are six specific ‘jobs’ for parents that will help keep things moving when the work load is weighty. These tips are especially useful with ADHD, Asperger Syndrome, High Functioning Autism or LD issues.

1. Be your child’s Admin Assistant. For example, to lighten the writing load, your child dictates while you type at the computer. Print it out and paste into a notebook if that is where the answers are supposed to show up.

2. Get them talking on the subject. If she’s stuck starting something creative in nature, such as a story or essay, coach her to stockpile any and all knowledge, ideas or feelings she has on the topic, no matter how little or how silly. You may be amazed at how a plan begins to bubble up and how thoughts flow when your child expresses them aloud first.

3. Chunk down the tasks. Help your child see a big workload as a series of manageable steps. Putting a title at the top of a blank piece of paper is often the first laborious step that flows to the next and the next. It’s the good old: “Little by little.” and “One step at a time.”

4. Create visual tools. Colored sticky notes are the greatest invention for visible goal setting. As assignments come in, each title gets its own sticky note. Color code according to due date or subject or what makes sense. Post on the wall. As the assignments are completed, another sticky comes down and satisfaction goes up. Incentives, rewards and break time can be built into the conquering of each sticky noted assignment.

5. You do the busy work while your child does the thinking work. For a display project, you can help move it along by cutting and gluing. For math, you can copy questions into the notebook, leaving space for your child fill in answers. (Most teachers will support this accommodation especially for students who struggle with LD issues. You can check with the teacher on this by sending a note with the homework if that would be more comfortable for you.)

6. Help your child keep his work area and tools organized–just enough. A tidy workspace clears thinking space in the brain. Create enough system so your child has what he needs within easy reach. Do not over-do organization; kids function differently in what adults consider clutter or bedroom chaos. Do stay involved. For a good habit of organization to take hold, parents need to coach until it is officially a habit. Be careful your support does not turn into nagging. Find strategies that work for your child to take charge of his systems.

Gaming laptops used to only be obtainable from specialist resellers. It was midnight and Lance Winslow was watching the clock, perhaps a bad habit from his past. In High School and later in College Lance was a trackstar; he finally accomplished his goal, to run a 4-minute mile.

Since that day Lance has always lived by the second not the minute and sometimes a day seems like and eternity, as at those times in competitive track, you race against world-class athletes all of which are headed for the Olympics or at least that is their goal. It is all about precision, pace and beating your body in to submission.

To compete at that level you must live without limits and believe you will. He still remembers those days, the workouts, the food, the long runs, blisters, tight muscles, hours and hours a day beating himself up for the next race, but not peaking too soon in the year otherwise there would be no chance at winning the championship.

Tonight was another of those intense personal competitions, what drives this guy, many asked, even Lance couldn’t tell you anymore, that is all he knew, it had become a habit in everything he did. Running a business, running in an election, giving a speech or doing non-profit work. He competed, generally against himself, for there were no others willing to go the distance. Often criticized or called into question by seemingly impossible record setting accomplishments, somehow people just assumed he was cheating. Not so, never a steroid, skipped practice, missed class or forgoing a promise in a handshake.

When Lance retired at age 40 from a franchise business he created which set up businesses in 22 states, he decided to help fix some things he had observed in the world. He decided to write about his ideas, concepts, innovations, experiences, observations, but he could find no real good place to post these articles, where many people would see them and he would not be forced to write anything he was not passionate about.

Lance discovered a really cool Internet site called; EzineArticles.com, which worked out really nice and Lance set out to write the most articles. Within a month and a half he surpassed all the others, but he knew if this was going to be something he was going to do in his spare time, then he would just have to compete against himself and Lance’s most competitive adversary was; time. Lance knew a lot about time, in fact he had been competing against it his whole life.

But on this night he watched the clock; his goal was to reach 600,000 article views by midnight having only written 2525 articles many were quite new and although they were gaining views from Internet Surfers to read they were not going to get him to that kind of number right away. He tried every possible way to increase his article views, just like in business or running, trying new strategies, new food, different workouts, better shoes or more efficient machinery; he knew he had to continue to work harder; knowing the old statement; “it is surprising how lucky your are getting when you are working hard.” He had done all that and now he waited to see if he could make the grade of 600,000 hits by Midnight.

It was 11:59.59 and he hit the refresh button to see how he had done. It had taken hard work and it took him “time,” to come this far, but the time had come, the time of truth. He looked down at the number; 599,996; “oh,” he sighed, he had felt like this before but it was so many years ago, once in politics having run and lost in an election, that was so very close and then there were all those times in track, when he had worked and trained much harder than what he saw in the movie; “Rocky” only to come up short by a few seconds, although he rarely ever lost a race, Lance was always racing against time.

Now with 2525 articles and over 111,500 words in seven months and all that hard work, he once again missed by his goal; he was so very close. Almost tasting victory and only missing by a mere 4 clicks from web surfers looking to read his latest titles and articles. Some ask why he does it, but some also ask mountain climbers why they do. In the 20 days leading up to the midnight self-induced contest and somewhat unrealistic goal Lance received 100,000 hits minus the four article views he needed to beat the clock, to defeat time.

He then thought of his next goal; Three Quarters of a million hits, could he make it by New Years? Hard to say that is 150,000 article views through the holidays, often sprinkled with less internet surfers especially around the bigger holidays. The goal has been set, he knows what he has to do, he has to write more articles, while allowing the ones in circulation to press on, it is a numbers game as he races against time and only time will tell. Whether he gets that lofty seemingly impossible goal or not, the next goal after that will most likely be 1-million article views.

Whether you are running your own business or work for somebody else, It is extremely important for you to beat the work at home blues.

Remember all the reasons you decided to quit your job and work from home? Like the annoying people who you had to share an office with, the daily trek to and from work or missing out on special occasions. And even though you wanted to work at home all day, you might find that you start to miss all or some of the things that made you want to work at home.

Now you are all alone. You get up for another day of work. Your children are off to school, your spouse is on the way work. Even most of your neighbors are off doing their thing. Your house feels empty, and your neighborhood is deserted.

It’s all too easy to stay in your pajamas and sit on the couch in this situation. You may begin to feel like your work can wait or that it is pointless. If you get stuck or you need help you have no one to turn to because it’s just you, your own your own.

You may not feel like it’s affecting you, but the lack of human interaction could be causing more trouble than you think. Ask yourself these questions honestly. Have you been more irritable recently, less energetic, or have you felt upset or sad without much reason. If you have, then you could be suffering from the work at home blues.

What can you do to get over it and get motivated again?

I would bet since you are running your business from home that you have a computer with Internet access. Am I right? One thing you can do is get online. Do a quick search in your industry to find few forums, especially ones dedicated to people who run home businesses. You might be pleasantly surprised to find that you are not alone at all.

Finding friends on forums or message boards can be good substitute for the lost interaction you are experiencing. More than that, it can offer you a good outlet for your frustrations and problems. Many of the people you will be talking to are going through or have gone through the same thing themselves, and will be more than happy to offer support and advice.
Just keep in mind that interaction is good but don’t let interrupt your work. Set limits, give yourself a certain amount of time each day to talk and don’t go over it.

Consider turning your loneliness into an advantage. Get to know your customers. By getting to know them on a more personal level it can be rewarding to you and your business. The customers that will be the most loyal to you are the ones that know you and trust you.

Join the local Chamber of Congress or another similar group or foundation in you area. If you look, you might be surprised at how many things are out there that you can join. Don’t be shy. Become a member and you could find some new friends, as well as some good business contacts.

There are so many thing you can do to overcome the work at home blues, so get out of your pajamas and get busy.
